Couldn’t finish it. I got about 83% done and stopped. I wanted to stop sooner, but didn’t want to give up. Dante, the main male character, was so alpha male it was border line abusive and stopped being a turn on.
Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this book. To say I’m pleasantly surprised is an understatement. In the end, I can say I’m obsessed with Dante.
The book starts when Delilah, at eighteen, is in love with her brother's best friend, Dante. We read how they end up together and the family dynamics. Fast forward a few years later, part and barely seen each other are now thrown together in a unique situation.
Delilah is a sassy, smart, and smart woman. On the next journey of her life. But at the same time, struggling with past demons. Dirty, Delicious Dante is possessive, protective, and swoon-worthy.
Fractured Freedom has everything, best friend's sister, military, mob, drug trafficking, and so much more. Let's not forget the spice. There is one scene I was waiting to be a little spicier, given the chapter’s title. But I wasn't disappointed.
Fractured Freedom is my first and certainly not my last book from this author.

At first this book genuinely intrigued me but the more I read, the more I lost interest. The pacing dragged and honestly all I ever read was LAMB, LAMB, LAMB. That nickname alone started giving me the ick. And speaking of the story... was there even one? The plot barely existed and by the time I reached the end, I felt like I had just trudged through a series of moments rather than an actual narrative.

I went into this book blindly and was so addicted. At first I thought it was going to be all smut and no plot. But this book was really good. It has great spice, don’t get me wrong, but the mental health, specifically depression, the drug addiction, and the loss of a pregnancy really brought a real-life depth to a mafia romance book. My first read by this author and I was not disappointed.

Omg!!! I loved this! The FMC was extremely relatable. Don't mind me getting the rest of this series as soon as I can, didn't realize this was book 2 when I started it, whoops lol
