Dark, sexy, emotional. The FMC has a long and tumultuous journey dealing with a miscarriage as a young woman that kicks off a life long issue with depression that is a thread through the whole book. Definitely be aware of that going in. Beautifully written and handled though. Can’t wait to see what the follow up novels cover with the ongoing story. I loved all of the characters and the relationship between the FMC and MMC was sexy and also beautiful - we love a man who is there to pick up the pieces and can bring the sexy.

2.5⭐️ I went in expecting a different book than this. I couldn’t help myself from getting fed up with Delilah. She was so infuriating, taking her own stuff out on Dante when he had no idea he was somehow involved with her self issues. The plot just wasn’t something I vibes with, I wish it involved more of Dante’s work and her getting involved earlier on. The best part was her waking up to see him kiss her twin in the hospital while they were dating, that could’ve been a major plot point but it was brushed over in the third act. Mid.
