“I don’t want to be picture-perfect with you. I want to be a mosaic, made up of broken pieces so damn colourful, you can’t help finding them beautiful.”

Jax is a broody and seemingly cold man who has secretly always struggled with anxiety and the pressures of the F1 race car driving make him seek salvation in pills and alcohol. After one particular bad stunt at a bar, his team decided to hire a personal PR specialist for him. Enter Elena, a no-bullshit woman, who sure as hell isn't going to be scared off a job she needs to keep her head up float just because of a moody client. What will they do when their close confinement starts turning their dislike for each other into something more?

I can't believe how much I loved this book. Lauren Asher is starting to become one of my instant-read authors. I think this book very beautifully described the different struggles people face while dealing with their pasts, futures and nows. This was a heavier and more emotional book than the first two. My heart broke so many times while reading about Jax and Elena and I deeply felt for both of them. I cried multiple times while reading the book, it touched me deeply. I wish all the best for them and I want them to live their lives being the happiest of people. Can't wait to read Santi's book and see what he brings to the table!

my god, this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. don’t get me wrong, i loved noah and maya and liam and sophie just as much, but this Story gives it the extra half a star. jax and elena feel so fucking real, especially jax. i don’t have the words right now to describe how this made me feel.
when i read the word “positive” i nearly threw my kindle across the room before remembering it was a kindle, if i had the paperback it would have been a goner
also caleb was the best character !! (if you need to search TW before you read PLS DO)

edit: just read the extended epilogue and it made my heart warm, a very jax and elena thing to do

5 million stars!!! This was so good! This book wrecked me lol. I loved every second of reading Jax and Elena's story. This was every and more. Them bonding over their troubles but fighting through them together was so heartwarming and heartbreaking at once. I loved everything about this. It was heavy but so amazing from the dedication to the last page. I loved every side character so much as well especially Caleb. I loved that no one was problematic. Jax and Elena deserve the world <3
