There isn't a lot of plot and the bit that is there isn't good. The characters are shitty people and what seems to be the redemption arc doesn't make them more likable. I didn't mind, but if you need to connect to the MCs you might be disappointed.

I enjoyed both of these characters. I liked how it was different from the rest of the books. Kind of wish they would have started off the story from the beginning rather than in the midst of their love/hate relationship. I would have liked to have seen their relationship right when their parents introduced them and then go from there but overall, it was definitely interesting!

Shantel just gets it. I absolutely love her writing style and I love that she understands women can be submissive and powerful all at the same time.
