When I grow up I want to be Amy Poehler!
This was a pretty awesome audio book, due to not only being able to hear Amy Poehler’s story from her own voice, but to also hear from other voices like Seth Meyers, Carol Burnett, and her own parents!
Amy Poehler is just amazing! I could talk about her for hours! That’s enough said about that!

I love Amy Poehler, and I'm a huge fan of Parks and Recreation. But this book, while being funny at times, and giving a great insight into Amy's life, was absolutely all over the place (although she does give fair warning about this), and there were quite a few times where I just lost interest, sadly enough.

My initial reaction to this book was that I couldn't believe it got past the editors as a finished book worthy of publishing, but I gave it a few stars because I'm a fan. But the more I thought about it, the more it bothered me... Writing a book is really hard, but since celebrities have money and resources, luckily most of them don't have to write their own books - they can just hire a ghostwriter. So why didn't she?

Pretty good. I found some small parts boring or uninteresting, but most of the book was very entertaining. Because I listened to the audiobook, I was very happy to find that she brought special guests in to read parts of the book, which made the book seem like having lunch with friends. Guests included Seth Myers and Kathleen Turner. I really enjoyed those parts.
