This is the best celebrity memoir I've ever read. It's obviously hilarious because it's Amy Poehler but it's so much more than that. She writes about truly serious topics that I think will connect with anyone. It's well organized, well written and truly thoughtful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to everyone. I do recommend the audio book though because she reads it herself and has many guest stars reading their own narratives. It was incredible.
This was the best celebrity memoir I've ever read. I love Amy poehler. She's obviously hilarious but I enjoyed hearing her philosophies and life lessons. A huge plus for the audiobook is that she reads it which makes it even more enjoyable.
Fun book! Hearing about SNL and P&R was great. I appreciated her honesty and the way that the audiobook was recorded. ;)
it started to bum me out :( so I put it down and never picked it back up.

Loved it as much as I love her podcast.
The first 20% off this book was well written and had some funny moments but goodness was this a book that age like milk.
Not only does the "celebrities" she uses for clout alot of them are horrible people but then the way she uses poverty tourism as a way to heal from her divorce. Let's not forget how she a white woman is so quick to state racism done to her by minorities and others so quickly and comparing certain things she deals with like slavery while not acknowledging her privilege and true racism and slavery is insane.

Her audiobook is literally laugh out loud funny. I probably would have liked it less if I had read it instead of listened, hence highly recommend listening for some levity. It was a great break from the current news cycle.
I should have DNFed. Just not much interesting in here, and sadly not funny.
