This book was a very different take from the typical WWII books I go for. Edith Eger recounts her memories as a Hungarian Jew Holocaust survivor and parallels them with clients she has treated. She helps her clients free themselves from their own thoughts and purposely choose freedom. As she treats her clients, she is confronted with her own thoughts and realizes and she needs to free her own mind.

This book was captivating, well written and an overall joy to read and experience.
