I almost dnf’d this on page one because the mmc’s name is Richard, and despite knowing many Richard’s in real life, I was like ew a Richard can’t be a book boyfriend! I decided to not be ridiculous though, and continued on. I’m glad I did, I was surprised by just how much I enjoyed this one. It was written mostly from Richard’s pov, and he starts out as a real dick (pun intended, everyone actually calls him that behind his back, he is aware and is too much of a dick to care) and it was fun to see him change throughout the book. I loved Katharine, she was the perfect woman to call him out on his nonsense. Now excuse me while I go through this authors entire backlist looking for more grumps to fall in love with.

I enjoyed this book. It has a clear premise and an easy to follow plot line. It doesn't do anything too wild. A nice read to unwind with at the end of a long day.
