I listened to the audiobook, and I felt that the narrator was a mismatch for this book. Any time he tried to say something remotely AAVE, it sounded super off.

Xeni was a stand out character for me in book one of this series, Rafe, so I was happy to see her own love story because she exuded main character energy from the moment she was introduced. I love seeing bisexual rep of the MC and the love interest. Mason is a plus sized Scottish brogue who plays the bagpipes and teaches Xeni how he likes to be p3gg3d?! I mean... this is the first I've read about it and tbh I am not mad at it.
The romance between Xeni and Mason was extra sweet with skittles on top. I will definitely be reading more from Rebekah Weatherspoon because I have been missing out on her fantastic love stories!!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! *insert screaming*
Yes. yes to Bisexual representation. Yes to Xeni and Mason. Yes yes yes.
Also, who do I have to pay to end up with a fortune plus a tall Scottish man who cooks for me? Xeni is living my life. I hate her. I love her. I'm obsessed!
The conversations were a little too cheesy but it was all so romantic and I don't hate it. I really enjoyed reading this.
