Key example of writing that tells instead of shows. KEY moments were rushed through and told as past tense. Way more emotional than I was expecting. Just okay overall. Predictable and characters lacked depth.

Her books are so easy to read like I get through them so fast (I think it’s the short chapters). Her negative view on romance had me scared for a second about my irl love life. But the lesson learned in the end was the best. I just knew when she saw the dance couple kiss they’d have a “happy ending”. Just proves love itself is work heartbreak.
