This book was incredible. I went in not knowing a thing about it and am so happy I did that. I was hooked once she started having the visions and

I was destroyed when she had the vision of her own future with X

. I love books that make me cry and I sobbed my way through the end of this book. 

I hated that Evie never told her sister about their dad cheating. I think it would’ve been helpful for her and would strengthen their relationship versus feeling like she had to protect her dad.

Favorite book of the year so far.

Instructions for Dancing is a beautifully sad story that will hook you from page one while also breaking your heart. Devastated after her parents divorce, Evie stops believing in love, which results in her giving away all of her romance novels. As a romance fan, this made me sad, but we all grieve in different ways. One day Evie receives magic powers where she has visions of how couples will break up. For someone who is already anti-romance due to her parents, this doesn’t help Evie’s relationship with love and the idea of happily ever after. Her new visions lead her to a dance studio where she meets X and agrees to join a ballroom competition with X as her partner. Both Evie and X have experienced pain and loss and X, with his say yes to everything attitude, starts to crack the wall Evie has put up. Instructions for Dancing is a great read that will break your heart while teaching you to live each day as best you can.

Omg this was so beautiful! There were so many beautiful quotes! I had no idea what to expect when I went into it. I knew three things before starting - It has a beautiful cover, it’s about dancing, and I loved both books I have read by this author before and this was no exception!

Simply a masterpiece, I was surprised by it but I absolutely loved it!! I had no idea it would be this sad :’)

I absolutely loved the romance and I thought the plot was so well planned and I also enjoyed the small bit of fantasy that was added. I also loved seeing the diversity in this book

Highly recommend this book, it was such a beautiful read!
