This was the perfect love story! Yoon will have you swooning over Evie and X’s journey together as dance partners. Devoured in one sitting, this story was so much fun to read.

Love is not simple, love is not easy- love between friends, romantic love, familial love all have their ups and downs. Nicola Yoon tackles it all in this beautiful and unexpected novel, with a little bit of magic thrown in for good measure.
X is open and optimistic, and Evie is calculated and cautious. They connect through dance, and become closer as they take on their dance instructor's assignments. But the vision start, and Evie can't help but hold back as she knows first hand that love "always" ends in heartbreak.

This was much, much
My lower rating is mostly due to the fact that I wanted, expected, and needed something fairly lighthearted, something to take my mind off of the harsh realities of life, not be a severe reminder of how depressing things can be.
I do appreciate the message that love is worth it, even if it doesn't have the happy ending you want. It's just not what I need to hear right now, and crying about the ending was not what I needed to feel either.
So what I'm saying is that this is a good, well written book, and if you're someone who can appreciate bittersweetness, especially in a romantic setting, and you're aware and prepared for that kind of story, then this is 100% worth reading.

I read the reviews and I still wasn't ready for it. Finished in one sitting. It brought me back to my teen years.
