I'm leaning a little more towards a 3.5 (how about we introduce the half star rating system).

To start, this is a very good book. This book explores things so unlike anything I've ever experienced, or really even heard of. It gives you a little insight into the Iaw enforcement of other countries (a little on the the third world side) but mainly a very true look into a jail unlike any other. Extremely fascinating, well written and at times a little unbelievable and extremely hard to imagine. If you're at all interested by the synopsis of the book, your going to get exactly what your hoping for.

This was a really interesting read, although a real culture shock. I really enjoyed it, but it's quite intense and very confronting, so it took me ages to read, even though it isn't a particularly long book. Still, despite how graphic and descriptive it is throughout, I would recommend it, it is really really interesting.

After reading this, I can understand why Ms Corby needed to see a psychiatrist for depression. While not being the strictest jail in the world, one tends to wonder how much you can get away with if you have the $$$$$.
A very interesting read

I now have zero desire to travel to Bali, even though I don't do drugs and have no reason to be put in jail, I'd rather not risk being framed.

A very eye-opening book.
