Lou needs a roommate, and puts an ad out. Abel needs a new place to live, and answers on the ad. That’s how they meet.

Lou is not the typical girl. She’s not a size 0, she’s quirky, sassy, lovable, funny. Abel is ‚Mr. Popular‘, as Lou calls him. He’s hot, sweet, romantic, and a football player every girl wants...

This is a funny college romance novel. I laughed a lot, I swooned a lot, because Abel is like a dream come true!

I kindly received an arc for an honest review

I absolutely loved this book. Granted it’s not as deep plot ways, on some of her more memorable books, or even books I generally gravitate to. But I absolutely enjoyed it. The book drew me in with the characters. I liked how Lou was just a regular girl, and even plus sized. She had to learn to learn to be comfortable in her own skin. And just loved Abel, how he was with Lou.. her friends his family. The Epilogue tied everything up but was just a quick fun read.

The main character was described as quirky (mostly by herself), but really she was just annoying, kinda rude, very judgemental, and her personality could be summed up with "body positivity, pink starbursts, and food". Seriously, this book made her obsession with food half of her personality. The girl had no interests outside of eating. There was nothing interesting or compelling about her.

I will read the sequel though, mostly because it has a trope I like, and I am I actually liked her best friend (who the sequel is about)

I decided to read this because I liked another book series I read by the same author. The story was cute, a little juvenile more like young adult fiction and there wasn’t a whole lot of character development. That being said it was cute , I liked that the main character was supposed to be “plus sized” although they talked about food way too much.
The epilogue added to the cuteness.

Such a cute and overly chessy book. It was such a feel good book, not much drama which is exactly what I needed currently. I loved the heroine she was both sassy & hilarious, i loved her friends and the way she met Tanner. Abel was such a sweetheart, and I liked that the idea that the heroine was the one kinda needing to apologize rather than the usual where its the hero. Even though that third act breakup made no sense.
The epilogue made me smile so fucking much.
I would've given this a 4 stars if it wasn't for the amount of times fate was mentioned and the fact that the hero was like " im not good enough for her" " shes my roommate" which was really annoying.

kinda cheesy but very wholesome. i’m a sucker for a curvy heroine and the hero was so sweet. definitely a quick, quirky read.
