This book was beautifully written. The messages and themes were very important, and I loved how everything was wrapped up in the end. I just didn't think the LGBT relationship was necessary.

It was kind of hard to get into at first because of the three different POVs and three different years, but once I was able to figure out each POV, I could not put the book down. I absolutely loved how everything was tied together in the end, and the epilogue was absolutely adorable.

A very timely look at the importance books play in our lives and communities! If you love historical fiction and strong female characters..this is the book for you! One of the best I have read, I felt every emotion reading it.
