Agatha Raisin is such a funny, cranky woman.  I love reading about her exploits.  She decides to help one of the women in the Cotswolds village with being blackmailed.  What she ends up doing is getting involved in another murder investigation, of course.  If you are looking for a light cozy mystery, look no further than the Agatha Raisin Series by M.C. Beaton.

๐Ÿ˜Š Happy Reading ๐Ÿ˜Š

This was quite funny picturing all these characters. Again, good fluff.

The local ladies all deem Mr John a wizard, so when Agatha finds a few grey hairs on her head, she makes a beeline for the handsome Evesham hairdresser. As well as sorting out her hair, it soon becomes clear the charming man also has designs on her heart - but their future together is cut short when Mr John is fatally poisoned in his salon.

I enjoy it when Agatha and Sir Charles Fraith work together. It makes for an amusing adventure.
I like it when Agatha doesn't remunerate about James all the time. Charles is a pleasant diversion.

I also like when Agatha and Roy are on speaking terms, and detect together.

I really enjoyed this installment- on to the next!

What can I say?

I simply adore these Agatha Raisin mysteries. I never fail to giggle throughout the book, often I want to shake some sense into Agatha or Iโ€™m applauding her sassiness. I love her little circle of friends and seeing her start to really embrace her life in Carsley.

In this book, Agatha discovers that her new, handsome hairdresser isnโ€™t the charming man she makes him out to be. Determined to discover his secrets, she employs the help of Sir Charles to winkle out the truth.

Full of the usual hijinks and misdirection, warnings from the police, and no shortage of suspects, M.C. Beaton gives us another fun Agatha adventure!

3.25 stars My least favourite of the Agatha books so far but still a great palette cleanser after a couple of heavy books.
