Oh, dear! Poor Agatha! :-D
This book was better because James wasn't in it much :-D I really hate that twat!
But Charles was in it... and even though he's an a-hole, too, at least he's an "honest a-hole", meaning, he knows very well he's an a-hole. And I believe he sincerely likes Agatha, even though he cannot fight his spots, and treats her badly. I like him.

So cheesy and Agatha is a love to hate character but I really enjoyed, it was an easy listen and held my attention! I'll need to have a look at others in the series
I needed a break between 2 more literary works, so I picked up the eighth book featuring Mrs. Raisin. The Wizard is a hairdresser in the neighboring town who is poisoned to death in his shop while Agatha is getting her hair done. Despite warnings from her pal, Bill Wong, Agatha begins to investigate and learn more about the deceased hairdresser. This one is really 2 1/2 stars, but it entertained me well enough. Agatha always makes me groan once and laugh once and again M.C Beaton succeeded in providing a nice break away from more serious fare,
