This was a re-read for me, but this time I listened to the new audiobook and, it made an already great story even better. Liam DiCosimo as Mercer? Flawless. Gabriel Michael also nailed Blake’s voice, and together they absolutely brought these characters to life.
Is the story over the top at times? Sure. But honestly, that’s half the fun. Sometimes you just need to let go, embrace the chaos, and enjoy the wild ride, and this book delivers. Yes, there’s a ton of spice, but there’s also a real plot underneath: suspense, humor, tension, and some standout side characters.
Mercer’s a brat, sure, but he’s also this complicated, vulnerable character who just needed someone to see him. And Blake? Blake saw him. The way Blake understood and supported Mercer was top tier boyfriend material. Watching Mercer grow and heal was such a beautiful emotional arc.

OMG Mercer stole the whole show! I really did love this book and the characters so much. There were times were the back story felt a little *much* or the pacing was off? I'm not sure, but it wasn't a perfect 5 star BUT it was damn close mostly because of Mercer. I will continue to read Nordika Night and i'm looking forward to it!

I love this book so much that I re-read it yearly, so to have an audiobook to listen to just made everything so much better 😍. Putting voices and expressions to Blake & Mercer was AMAZING 💯. Especially those spicy scenes 🥵🔥💥🫠 Liam DiCosimo & Gabriel Michael did these characters such justice and phew definitely read this alone 😏. Listening to this just made me want more from this world! Hopefully Nordika will decide sometime in the future to give the other two Carter brothers their own HEA 🤩. And I'll live vicariously through them to see more of Blake & his little demon. Seriously, if you loved the book this audio will NOT disappoint 💓.
