*sobbing* How COULD you, Gotouge?! How could you DO THIS TO ME?! You didn't tell me I'd be nearly killed by the feels THIS EARLY IN THE SERIES!!!!! *sniffle* But I still love this series, so I'll forgive you. Also, the rest of the volume was absolutely splendid, so I'll be okay. I'm just gonna go cry my eyes out some more...*walks off, sobbing*

No spoilers, but this one was both terrifically entertaining and wholly gut-wrenching. I’m a little mad at ~certain~ events that happened yet at the same time it made perfect sense and felt like the natural progression of things. Did I tear up and gasp multiple times at these events? Yes. But they still made sense. There were also so many little moments of hope and strength in this volume that I really enjoyed seeing. This and the last volume really sealed the deal for me reading the rest of the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Get the tissues ready because after an amazing fight there is a death that I’ve still not recovered from. This volume shows what we are gearing up towards and how powerful these demons that they’re messing with are. And of course Tanjiro gets threatened by his swords smith for throwing away his sword

Oh this volume hurts to read. It features the first major death in the manga, and while this one isn’t the worst of the deaths featured in Demon Slayer, it might be the e most touching. Akaza is a very complex Kizuki, and while he might be hated at the moment, his character development is truly the best in the series. Tanjiro getting to meet Kyōjurō's family was a great addition to the story, and I love this volume for everything it adds and takes away from us.
