This was really sweet. I really loved Lucy. My only issue with some of these romance books is that you know it will all work out, so it takes away some of the tension. Of course there’s still the how of it all, which was quite the ride. The epilogues were good. I’m surprised it took until the last one for certain things to come up (no spoilers). It was really sweet at the end and got me to tear up a little.
Now I’ve finished all the Bridgerton books! There’s a prequel one in the kindle copy I’ve borrowed, so I may read that, but I don’t feel I need to. It’ll be good book candy if it need it.

Another fun Bridgertons book by #juliaquinn ! This one is about the youngest, Gregory. There are plenty of secrets, lies, twists and turns! It took me a little longer than expected to get into it, but the last few chapters were nail biters!

Ok, hear me out. I NEVER thought I’d give a Bridgerton book a 5 star rating. I’m just as surprised as you are. Buuuut, I did really like it. It made my days brighter and I wasn’t really bored while reading it.
Also, (spoilers Ig) why was Gregory just a mind-reader at some point? And WHY do characters just realize they love someone simply from their necks?? And I swear Hermione and Gregory are somehow just connected in their souls bc WHY do they always just say the same things and never speak with each other???

please this was my favorite bridgerton book, and to think i almost dnf it
I am slightly sad that the last book in the Bridgerton series was so... average.
The beginning of the book was hard to get into (which is why I started it in June of 2024 and only finished it now in January 2025) and not the best work of the author. It lacked romance and banter, which is typically something you can expect from a Julia Quinn book. Love was most definitely overused, being thrown left and right.
The relationship between Lucy and Gregory was surprisingly much better at the beginning of the book than at the end.
All in all I am happy I finally finished the series!

One can only read the same words over and over and over (and over) again so many times.
