This book was really sweet, and I enjoyed reading it. The ending was a bit underwhelming, but it matched real life and made me think about life in a really beautiful way.
The book offered an intersection of escapism—with a scifi style premise—and an ordinary slice-of-life story.

This was an easy read, the concept is amazing but the plot was a bit boring and underwhelming. I felt as though some narrative perspectives were a bit unnecessary

This book was really thoughtful about the way it addresses dying and relationships. It did get very heavy at parts but I guess the warning is right there in the title. It seemed to end very suddenly which made it even more sad.

First things first: Silvera has a major talent for characterization. Everyone in this book is now my best friend. The set up of this book is exactly like There There by Tommy Orange. The multi pov isn't my favorite, and I could have done without it. The bright side is that it led us into the worldbuilding aspects and how this construct affects society through individual experiences.  The ending annoyed me though. It did make me shed a tear. Some subplots were just completely unnecessary though. It was okay.

Loved this book so much more then I thought I would! A quick, emotional and thought provoking read. This book was so beautiful I was okay with how sad it made me. Definitely not a light, happy read, but so worth it!
