This book brought me back to the college party scene so fast that my shoes are sticking to the floor. Maddie and Nova were bitter enemies, but their hate fueled the fire oh so nicely. I loved their revenge dynamic, and the tension was so thick between them. When they finally started giving in, the snowball into romance brought them both to their knees. I'm so here for it. I loved the characters in this story! Everyone had their role, and there wasn't an overwhelming amount of people to remember. Sign me up for Josh's story because I need more Fairfield U in my life.
Another great story by G.N. Wright. You’ve got the rich girl from the right side of town with the mayor daddy that looks like she’s living her best life. You also have the captain of the hockey team with a couple grudges against men who were previously in a relationship with his mom, who he adores & dealing with cancer. One of those men happens to be the mayor, so he’s not a fan of the whole family. The book is filled with accidental and inappropriate text messaging leading to some choking events
Ooooo this was worth the hype! It was fantastic how the author wove together the various plot points, how the anonymous texting started, and built alongside the flirty antagonistic thing going on with Nova and Maddie. How it resolved. And the world building was A+. I can’t wait for the rest of the series. I have a feeling that there are a lot of breadcrumbs in this book that will have me rereading it once the next books are published. One thing about Nova…..I hate that name for a man! That is all.
After reading the pucking wrong number by CR Jane, this one was kind of bleh. Same premise but different characters. It was okay
Yeah I couldn't handle this book she just kept folding whenever her dad said anything and don't get me started on Bradley she just let him call her a slut and continue smiling?! Like girl get a backbone I'd rather be poor and have my self-esteem then be treated like a doormat
