I absolutely loved Izzy’s story. Of all of the Waldo sisters, I identify most with Izzy, so seeing her go after her dreams and get the man of her dreams… swoon! Daire really turned himself around from the first time we met him. The good girl and redeemed bad boy doesn’t get better than Izzy and Daire. This return to Hell is one of my faves and can’t wait for more.

”I suddenly had bigger things to worry about than an explosion of d!ck cookies at a women’s shelter. Daire Beneventi. My sister’s ex-boyfriend.”

I liked Daire and Izzy as a couple. Whilst the progression of their relationship in the beginning felt convenient and rushed, I couldn’t help but appreciate how honest they were with themselves when it came to their feelings for each other.

“I’d always equated strength to being loud and over the top. Izzy was showing me that strength was sometimes quiet, but equally as steadfast.”

However, I wasn’t a fan of the last minute separation debacle. I know that authors break their couples up so that they can bring them back together, but in this case the author goes down the route of FMC-breaks-up-with-the-MMC-after-misconstruing-something-without-giving-him-the-chance-to-explain and MMC-thinks-that-the-FMC-will-be-sacrificing-her-happiness-by-choosing-to-be-with-him-so-he-decides-to-end-things. My problem with this is that they had already faced similar obstacles and overcome them by trusting in the strength of their feelings and relationship. It just felt unnecessary and forced to me.

My favorite book of the series!! I loved Izzy and Daire so much. The quiet and timid baker and the rough around the edges bad boy…..or were they? Maybe she wasn’t so timid and maybe he wasn’t as much of a bad boy after all. The bonus epilogue was epic!!!!

A solid 4.5 stars. The only thing really keeping this story from 5 is that there are some twists that just wouldn't play the same since I would know what it coming. Daire, Frowny frowncakes, is a the complete opposite of Izzy. He was a class A douche (especially to Izzy's sister), but since some things have happened, he is starting to look at the world in a different light. Izzy is the quiet background Waldo sister, but possibly the strongest in the group. She really does embody all that is good in all her sisters! I loved watching her grow into herself and learn who she wants to be, not who she is expected to be! The quiet ones are the ones that can surprise us the most!
Izzy and Daire are amazing together, both learning and growing... *sigh* swoon!

Loved the Pollen

This last book in the series brought home people can change from high school boyfriend to bring a grown ass man that found his way. Then having to convince everyone he is not who he was when he dated the other sister. Daire is a great guy with a shaky past. Izzy is the twin sister of 5 sisters and is the quiet shy one who is feels less than compared to her sisters. Daire see the real her but can her family let go of who he was and see who he is today.... Loved the ending of this series. Chief Waldo brings it home for his 5 girls and the loves of their lives

✨A Top Read of 2021!!! ✨
I saw that this was a "sister's ex boyfriend" story and that TOTALLY piqued my interest! So Daire is basically ran out of town when his relationship with Amelia goes bad and he is a total jerk. He had to come back to help out his sister, who just went through a rough time. Daire runs into Izzy. And even though he didn't pay her much attention when he dated her sister..... he was paying all kinds of attention now! I felt the angst..... there was some very serious hotness!!! And a whole lot of swooning! For a self-proclaimed jerk he sure did a lot of swoony Hero things! Loved it 1000%!!! And that series epilogue was so sweet and fantastic!

This is so much fun to read. I was ss into the story because it was an enjoyable read. I finished it in just one sitting. Daire and Izzy's story was well-written.

I liked how Daire's character was written and portrayed. I feel sorry for how he was so misunderstood and unwelcomed after what he did to Izzy's sister. But now he's a changed man after what happened to his sister. And Izzy somehow made him want to be a better person. I loved these two. They were just so sweet together. And I loved that Izzy always stands by his side, except for that misunderstanding. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed their story.
