Rehash of his previous book, and added lots of his own speculation on archeology and human evolution, with no backing evidence, just his personal conjecture. Pretty atrocious for a scientist.

Well meaning eugenics is still eugenics.

While I appreciate the author's neuropositive stance in this book - and I truly felt he was well-intentioned - it was ultimately not a very engaging read. As others have said it was very repetitive and could have been much shorter.

As I have read in other reviews (who do a better job at explaining than I ever could) his research is to be taken with a big grain of salt. It is definitely worth looking into.

I also felt like the systemizing quotient test was written in a way that would make men more likely to score higher than women (again asking questions about trains etc instead of topics that women tend to find more interesting but could still involve patterns).

I did enjoy his thoughts and suggestions on the school system.

Some interesting and compelling ideas, but the author went on and on about how inferior he believes animal minds to be -- it was a significant part of the book that could have been restricted to a few pages without hurting his arguments.

This is an interesting read about neuro diversity being at the source of great achievements.
