Maybe I’m just not a novella type of person. This was so dumb. Even though I’m a usual Freida fan! (Ebook)

Plot Summary

Stella is broke. She works 2 jobs and even with that her heat has been turned off. It's Christmas Eve and though she can't afford a gift, all she wants in the world is to finish her shift at the run-down diner where she is employed and get home to her husband to celebrate their first Christmas together.

The only thing between her and home is a very old female customer in the corner...who no one has waited on, and who appears to be dead....

My Thoughts

This is a short read and very enjoyable. To be honest, I thought I had it figured out halfway through and was annoyed, but I was very wrong. I finished satisfied. It's only 53 pages so hard to say too much more without spoiling the story. It's well-written and well worth a read.

Recommendation

Read it. You won't regret it. And, you can say you read a holiday book (even if there are no sugar plums and a lack of holiday cheer).

Bonus: it's available from Amazon Unlimited if you have that!
