This manga is too stinking cute! Shun is hiding out with his aunt after breaking off an engagement and being disowned by his family for being gay. Mio is grieving the sudden loss of his parents. They end up meeting by chance and start opening up to each other and then fall in love. It’s just so genuine and adorable and I loved it!

light-touch, lightweight. should have read this in the summer instead of the winter. I think I also had mismatched expectations going into it because some people I encountered online framed this story in a way I would not have
cute! thats it. just cute. im hoping something from the 2nd volume can hook me a little more than just two guys with family problems wanting to bone.

I love this story so much. This summer I saw the film and fell in love with Mio and Shun, it was nice to learn more and see details that were overlooked in the anime that gave a general sense to the story. Can't wait to continue their story with Harukaze no étrager.
Definitely my favorite comfort read this year. Both Shun and Mio have trauma, but the way they go about their trauma makes them almost serve as foils to one another. Shun dwells on his past and struggles to confront it, while Mio acknowledges his past struggles and strives to move forward. Yes this is a book about QUEER men facing struggles due to them being QUEER. It's a comforting, yet sappy love story between two young men who met at a difficult time in each other's lives and find happiness in one another. Highly recommend watching the movie adaptation after reading the manga if you haven't seen it already.
