OK, I don't want to write a bunch of spoilers, so I will be vague.
This book did not impress me, overall. There were some scenes that were absolutely fantastic -- for example, kickstarting a ship by using a sea shanty was, well, inspired. There were moments in the final battle that were great. But only moments. Much of the fighting was rather formulaic. There was one introduced character (yeah, being vague here) who you KNEW was going to be important, gut his level of importance was sort of like pulling a rabbit out of a hat.
Curran's actions were explained, but still were difficult to swallow. And Kate' complete absorption into the Pack really removes what had been a very cool aspect of her character -- the fact that she started out independent of all of the various factions.
So, yeah, an OK book, but not great to me.

As usual, another excellent addition to the series. The action moves to Europe which makes for an interesting change in setting. More is learned about Hugh and there are bumps in Kate and Curran's relationship.
