If you've already watched the Jan 6th Committee Public Hearings, you might have heard a lot of what is written in this book. I enjoyed it and listened all the way through. I think it would be an easier listen than a read, depending on what you like to read. For me, I think it was easier to listen. I do enjoy these types of real life and fictional shows where trials and fact finding are concerned. It made me feel proud that someone stood up to the denials of Pres. Trump concerning his involvement in the happenings on Jan 6th, 2021. It's a reminder of what happened as well.

This is a must read for every American. I am not affiliated with Cheney’s political party but I am grateful for her fortitude and integrity to. ensure every American know how close we came (and still are) to losing our democratic form our government. The evidence is there and cannot be ignored or denied.

If you watched the House Committee hearings, you already know most of the second half of this book. That said, there was a lot that I either had never heard or had forgotten, especially in the first half of the book. What I really appreciated was the citations in law and the constitution that I would never have known with Rep. Cheney highlighting them. This was a thorough reflection of the events since November 2020.

A well-explained and documented account of the events leading up to, on, and following Jan 6, 2020. Several parts of this book made my blood boil. It’s clear that what happened was carefully planned, executed, then denied after the fact. Trump poses a grave danger to our country.

The audio receipts in the audiobook are stellar.
