prima verhaal maar deel 1&2 zijn een stuk leuker

I greatly enjoyed this book! So good! Quick read! Don’s thought processes were so interesting and accurately portrayed for a person with high functioning autism. Funny too!

A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy!

In book 3 of the Rosie series, Don, Rosie and their son, Hudson, find themselves back in Australia after Rosie is offered a job that is too good to pass up.  Unfortunately, all is not sunshine and roses .... Don has been accused of racism at his university, Rosie's research position is not going well and Hudson is not adjusting to his new school.  Don decides to dedicate his time to solving the "Hudson project".

I found the book amusing in places, poignant in others.  My favorite parts of the book were the interactions between Rosie and Don and various school administrators as they grappled with the possibility of Hudson being "on the Autism spectrum".  Their experiences reminded me of my own parents' struggles and challenges in dealing with the public school system and my younger brother's special needs.  If you enjoyed the first two books in this series, I don't think that you will be disappointed with The Rosie Result.

The Rosie Result is the final book in the Don Tillman and the weakest in the series. It is much more serious than the previous two books and is not as heavily sprinkled with laugh-out-loud moments. That being said Don Tillman is one of the world’s best book characters. Sad to end this journey with him. Might just have to reread the series again.

Don and Rosie are great parents and it's fun to see them in this role, definitely a strong finish to the series.

I didn’t enjoy this book. I think the series would have been better off if they stopped on book 2. I found myself dreading listening to it, but wanting to get it over with at the same time so I could move onto something new.

I'm not sure if this is end of Don Tillman's stories, but it was thoughtful, funny, and a solid end if it is. I feel like Rosie very much took a back seat in this one which felt weird, but I like reading about this community a lot.

What a great way to end the series. Really loved revisiting Don, Rosie and all of their friends. And it was great to meet their son, Hudson. This one was definitely a lot better than book 2!
