A short story about Julian, a character from Palacio’s Wonder who didn’t get a say in that book. I read Wonder a year ago, so I didn’t remember all the characters clearly, but this story kind of works as a stand-alone. There aren’t too many details that you need a backstory for. I think this story is a great way to show things from the bully’s point of view, and highly recommend it to those who read Wonder.
I didn't feel this needed to be written. Wonder as it is stands very nicely alone, and doesn't really need Julians story. I felt this was contrived, especially the bit about his grandmother, I think it would have been better if Julian had come to feel remorse without such a dramatic reason.
A good follow up from the bully's perspective!

Meet Julian, the one who always mean to Auggie and do the bullied thing to poor August Pullman.
But wait, every deed must be had a reason for cast it right? So i really want to know why Julian did all the meanest thing to Kind Auggie and event Jack, his best buddy before.
One by one all the bad behavior of Julian is revealed, finally i know what made Julian is really spoiled and become a self center kid.
When Granmere of Julian told her past story, i almost cry and happy as the same time because she could affect Julian that way.
I want to read other chapter :'(

4,5 No le tenía fe porque era un libro sobre el "matón" del curso y tenía miedo de que justificaran todo lo que hacía y que el personaje no evolucionara
A brief "chapter" from the novel Wonder (which I read a few months ago), sharing the story from the perspective of one of the characters. At first, I didn't like him as a person, but now I understand why he did the things he did in Wonder. Wouldn't it be great if more bullies learned their lesson?
So thankful for this extra story. I was wishing to hear from Julian in Wonder. I love his story, although I am not as forgiving as Auggie. Julian's story rings so true with life... We all do things that we regret and wish we had never done. We all have to learn the hard way sometimes. I hate that it sometimes has to be learning at someone else's expense. I love this line: "You must simply act better next time." I love that Julian apologized... I felt there was more healing and closure needed. Sometimes, though, it is good to start over.
Ok, yes, it's a little easy. But I don't think these books are only about showing what is. They're also about showing what could be.
