Ughhhh I was debating wether to give this 5 stars because all through out reading it I was itching for more I was thinking about it at work and couldn’t wait to get home to read more and in my head I was like there’s no way this ain’t a 5star for me and then that chapter happened and I was genuinely so annoyed and hurt by it and I was like this is a 4star but it felt wrong deducting a star just because I didn’t like a plot line but then that’s the point of the book and I didn’t like it so I’m still unsure but gave it a 5star for now.

I really enjoyed this book. I fell in love with Percy’s and Sam’s relationship and loved how it progressed throughout the years. It was so sweet. This was a perfect holiday book.

Felt quite slow, took half the book for them to actually get together and then the weekend together felt very rushed after 10 years apart. But the characters are very lovable and the lakeside setting is everything.
