I was pretty bored reading this book - I went in with high hopes but was quickly let down. I felt it was just pages upon pages upon pages of the same stuff. Which might have been the point to show us how similar each year was. 
The ending was very disappointing, with no definitive points. We still don't know why the wall was there? What happened to everyone else? Where did that man come from? Why was she the only one trapped? And does she live or die?

This was a monotonous read as to be expected with no chapters or dialog and most of the book detailing a woman doing farm work but I really loved this!
