Good but typical

It’s a typical Christmas story but a good one. The smut was good but one word this book help me realize I don’t like in smutty books is “spit”.

This was a sweet holiday read and I liked it fine but I feel like it lacked a little bit of the chemistry Maren Moore's characters usually have. I wanted a little more tension in the push and pull as well. But the story was fun and kept me reading.

My tree is not even up yet and I am so very ready for the holiday season after reading this cute and spicy holiday romance! A Festive Feud has everything I love in my romance reads with the addition of the Holiday season all wrapped up in a perfect quick read bow! Small town, a long time family feud, and a filthy talking MMC make this novella perfect in my eyes. Being forced to combine their annual family holiday parties and work together to plan the combo even gives just enough tension to make the chemistry incredible between Emma and Jackson. Talk about Hallmark after dark! I absolutely recommend this addition to the Strawberry Hollow world.
fast-paced

I love Maren Moore's storytelling. Her characters are fantastic, and I fall head over heels for each and every one. That being said, A Festive Feud didn't grab me as much as previous titles have. The characters were interesting. The concept was great. But it wasn't what I've come to expect from Maren's books.

I did enjoy the story. I did like the characters. But something was missing, and I cannot put my finger on what exactly it was. I will still give this 4 stars though. I don't feel that it deserves less than that. In my mind no book by Maren deserves less than a 4 star rating. Call me biased if you must.

A Festive Feud was very much a hallmark movie in book form with decent steam added in.

predictable and a bit cheesy but a good/fun holiday read!

Hallmark after dark.

This one is pretty spicy. Like the spice starts pretty quickly. This was the second book for the Cursed Book Club for the month of December. Definitely our best pick as a group.

I had a really fun time reading it, It would have been five stars except I really didn't enjoy what the peak drama point was and that it was resolved in a few sentences. Then the fact that the book actually had "miscommunication trope" mentioned during the peak of drama. If you are looking for something fun, not really a heavy read plenty of spice this is it.
