If you know me (and I think you do), I’ve been diving headfirst into some delightfully spicy Hallmark-esque festive reads lately, and they have definitely not disappointed. Maren Moore delivers again with A Festive Feud, the second book in her Strawberry Hollow series. This time, we’re treated to Jackson and Emma’s story as they plan the town’s Christmas party—only catch? They belong to two of the town’s most famously feuding families. Classic holiday drama incoming!
I devoured this one like a plate of freshly baked Christmas cookies—sweet, satisfying, and utterly irresistible! Jackson and Emma may be opposites, but they share so much when it comes to their deep family commitment, unconditional love, and moments of vulnerability. I loved how Maren brought so much heart to their story while keeping the pace engaging, the characters well-developed, and, let’s be real, delivering all the cheese, sweetness, and spice in abundance across several chapters.

What a super cute and festive read! I always love an enemies to lovers and this short story was that and so perfect for Christmas time!!!! Loved all the characters so much! Also really loved the spicy bits!!! Definitely a cute quick read!!!!

No but seriously, Emma and Jackson's tension?! Through the roof! I loved it so much. The pacing was amazing (especially because I was nervous about it being a novella). It left me wanting more but that's just because I am soo in love with Maren and the characters that she creates!

when the author said, "Welcome to Hallmark after dark," I just shrugged and assumed we would have one or two smut scenes but turns out nearly every chapter has smut in. Not really what I wanted, but it is what I got.
