A woman can easily kill on the street, in the middle of a crowd, she can do it more easily than a man. Her violence seems a game, a parody, an improper and slightly ridiculous use of the male intent to do harm.

This novel was complex and raw. It explored the depths of what seperation truly entails to a couple like Olga and Mario, but also their children.

I could practically feel Olga's anger, desperation and exhaustion through the pages – the writing really mirrored her inner self in every way.

In the middle, it felt like she was "beyond repair" and I was dreading what she'd do next. I was surprised to see that I was wrong, and it matched the way humans developed and changed when the circumstances they're left with do. We are nothing but creatures of habit, after all.
