This book cannot top Say You Swear. Noah is still #1. I did enjoy Payton and Masons story. The flashbacks were confusing. I wish they were labeled with the month and year. This is the slowest burn I’ve ever read. If you’re looking for smut this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a heartbreaking love story this is your book. Little D 💜

I found myself not caring about the characters or the plot even a little bit so I put this down at 33 pages. Not a bad book, just not for me.

After reading Say You Swear I was so excited to read the next instalment and feel it felt quite flat. I think I may have been on a Noah hangover but I just didn’t enjoy it as much. It was still good but not nearly as addictive as its predecessor.

This one is about Mason and Payton. There is plenty of angst, lots of miscommunication and a love triangle with essentially a ghost.

Payton lost the love of her life and has to raise her son on her own.

Mason has been attracted to her ever since he met her. He’s there for both Payton and her son but is met with hesitance from Payton. She still loves her previous partner and feels guilty for moving on.

Although I liked the book, I feel like it was quite rushed. Payton, although I understand her reluctance, was beginning to get on my nerves with it all. Mason is so persistent and the scenes taking her and Little D to Disney melted my heart.

One of the positives of this book was Noah and Ari’s appearances (mainly Noah!). I do wish they were in it more.

Such a slow slow boring book. Could've just read the last 5 chapters to get the whole concept of story. The other 30 odd chapters were no needed. A real disappointment after reading the first book in the series.
