An absolute must-read! From the very first page, I was completely captivated! I couldn’t put it down—seriously, I stayed up way too late just to see what would happen next!
Meagan pulls no punches when weaving together romance and drama, creating a story that hits all the right emotional notes. I loved how each character is so well-developed and relatable—you’ll find pieces of yourself in their struggles and triumphs.
The way Meagan captures the ups and downs of relationships is so authentic. You’ll laugh, cry, and definitely swoon! The tension and banter between the characters had me grinning like a fool, and their journey together is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching.
It’s the perfect blend of angst, romance, and unforgettable moments.
Get ready to binge-read this one!

This book pissed me off so much! Payton pissed me off so much. She let guilt and fear stop her from being with the man she loves until the last two chapters! Gosh, Mason deserved better! She caused them both unnecessary heartbreak and grief and even kept Mason from seeing her son, Deaton, who he loves like his own flesh and blood.
Gosh, I can’t tell you how fumed I was with Payton throughout the whole book. And freaking Chase! Stop getting in the way and find your own partner! Man, I can’t wait for Chase and Paige’s book.
I’m rating this book 3 stars because I needed more of them together and less of them apart. Two chapters was NOT enough to satisfy my craving.

This book is an emotional rollercoaster filled with tension, heartbreak, and moments of tenderness. The story delves deep into themes of love, trust, and personal growth, with complex characters who carry their fair share of flaws and vulnerabilities.
While the narrative is engaging, it occasionally feels predictable, and some parts seem to drag. The chemistry between Mason and Peyton is compelling, but certain plot points lack the depth needed to make them truly memorable. Overall, this was an enjoyable read with heartfelt moments, but it didn’t fully work for me.
