Ik had echt zulke hoge verwachtingen van dit boek want Say You Swear vond ik echt geweldig. Maar dit boek was het gewoon echt niet helaas :( Er gebeurt vooral heel erg weinig en pas na 2/3e deel had ik het gevoel dat ik echt nieuwe dingen te weten kwam. De rest wist ik eigenlijk allemaal al van Say You Swear. En 383 pagina’s voor een boek waarin niks gebeurd is echt heel lang.

Really enjoyed this book! Thought it was a great sequel to Say You Swear!
Love Mason, and my heart broke for him so much! He had a real battle going on in his head with his inner deamons! He was so sweet with little Deaton and always made me smile when he had his time with the wee man, especially the little wrestling bit!

This book is the definition of if he wanted to he would. This man did EVERYTHING in his life for Payton and her son. I’m down bad for Mason.
I loveeee an angsty book and this one is FULL of it. I was rooting for these two the ENTIRE book. Mason deserved nothing but love and Payton had been through so much… Mason was the one who could love her so deeply and perfectly.
I’m OBSESSED and in love. The entire book had me feeling all the emotions.

Maybe its because i'm such an emotional person when it comes to reading. But this book had me weaping multiple times. I get the fear of falling in love and feeling guilt after loosing your first love. Lets not forget, Peyton is a teenager that lost not only her first love, but in a way her dad, and also she did not have a mother that loved her. I just wished she realized sooner that she loved Mason as much as he loved her and her son
Wow! I have been waiting for this book and Meagan Brandy did not disappoint. That was a perfect story line for sweet Payton. Mason is perfect for her. With his attachment to her and sweat that sweat baby Deaton. It was a perfect love story. I also loved her connection she had with Chase and him being there for her when she needed someone was an amazing touch to the story. Also when Mason realized he needed Chase to just be what Payton needed. It was a 5 star read for me. I can’t wait till we get Chases book!!
