I liked it, but it was difficult to get into. Especially following the first Avix University book. This one is more of a tortured, self-growth journey. I’d still say it ends being a sweet, romantic drama. 
The one thing I absolutely loved was Mason’s devotion to Deaton.

Yes it said slow-burn but I would say just sloooooooow. Omg I was dying for some action after the first 150 pages but it still kept me waiting. I forced myself to read it eventually and yes the end was ok, but no. All and all not my piece of Cake.
