Had high hopes for this book because Say You Swear was one of the best books I’ve read this year, but this one fell flat for me unfortunately. Payton got on my damn nerves SO MUCH with her refusal to just communicate with Mason no matter how much she could see that it was torturing him. Nothing gets fully resolved until like the last 30 pages and that pissed me off too. It was okay overall, but I definitely won’t be doing a reread.

This was really good and sweet but it was just missing something for it to be a 5 star from me. The Noah and Ari cameos made my life happy. And I’m so exited for Cameron’s book!!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t obsessed with this book like I was Say You Swear but it still was really good. I got a little frustrated with Payton because in the present timeline she kept running away instead of talking to Mason like she should have but I did enjoy the past/present timeline. I got a little teary eyed at the end but no where near how I was with Say You Swear. Glad I finally got to read it and cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

Overall, I loved their relationship. Some more cringey stuff(dialogue, pet names, etc.) than I expected. I think Mason just isn't a favorite for me. 
More back and forth than I like. Chase was annoying AGAI,  but I got over that quickly
