This book was 100 pages too long. I struggled with the characters and their ages and decisions. I didnโt like the back and forth timeline. It just didnโt work for me.

The most insufferable FMC to have ever lived.
-The narrators (Erin Mallon & Chase Brown)were wonderful and did the best they could with a god awful story.
Iโm not sure what happened after book 1 but the author dropped the ball with these characters, such a waste!
-95% of the story is about 2 people a***t. The last 2 chapters felt as if the author had forgotten she was supposed to be writing a romance novel and she hurriedly tacked on some s***e๐คฆโโ๏ธ
-An epilogue could've helped with my star rating but the author seemed to have decided (for whatever reason) it wasnโt necessary ๐คทโโ๏ธ (audiobook version anyway)
If you enjoy extreme whininess from the FMC this is right up your alley. the story was painful to read and not in a good way.

This book had me ๐ฌ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ช๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ, so I could read it without any disruptions. Whenever I had to put it down, my mind constantly went back, thinking about it. And when I wasnโt thinking about it, I was talking about it. ๐ฅบ
Payton and Masonโs story is ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ, ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ , and ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ all at the same time. I felt the pain, the heartache, and longing deep in my core and in my heart, as I cried with them. It's a tragic story that turns beautiful, with found family, a protective ๐๐๐, and a single teenage mom (๐๐๐) who finds love after loss. I know it will stay with me for a long time, and even as I write this review, I'm having a hard time finding the ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐๐จ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐๐ฎ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ . It left me speechless and has impacted me greatly.

i could no longer put myself through finishing this book. I am learning i donโt love Meagan Brandyโs writing as much as i used to. I will forever love The Brayshaw Series, they have such a special place in my heart forever. But sadly i think this is the end of my Meagan Brandy journey, her writing feels so unserious to me, i couldnโt take anything in this book seriously.
