This book had me 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥, so I could read it without any disruptions. Whenever I had to put it down, my mind constantly went back, thinking about it. And when I wasn’t thinking about it, I was talking about it. 🥺

Payton and Mason’s story is 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, and 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 all at the same time. I felt the pain, the heartache, and longing deep in my core and in my heart, as I cried with them. It's a tragic story that turns beautiful, with found family, a protective 𝘔𝘔𝘊, and a single teenage mom (𝘍𝘔𝘊) who finds love after loss. I know it will stay with me for a long time, and even as I write this review, I'm having a hard time finding the 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠. It left me speechless and has impacted me greatly.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭 is a strong reminder that without stepping outside your comfort zone and risking getting hurt, you’ll never truly experience what love has to offer. This is not just a book, it's perfection.

I swear if I hear “pretty little” one more time I’m going to rage. It took until 91% for her to finally get her crap together and I couldn’t even enjoy the last 10%.

i could no longer put myself through finishing this book. I am learning i don’t love Meagan Brandy’s writing as much as i used to. I will forever love The Brayshaw Series, they have such a special place in my heart forever. But sadly i think this is the end of my Meagan Brandy journey, her writing feels so unserious to me, i couldn’t take anything in this book seriously. I didn’t enjoy any of the characters or anything else about this book, i’m surprised i even got 60% in

Unfortunately, I think my expectations were sky-high because of Say You Swear, so this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The miscommunication—I hated it, and not only that, but to bring Chase back into the mix with assumptions flying around was a bit much. Chase is a good friend, but I can see why people might be frustrated with him in this book, especially after what happened in the first book. Also, the nickname—Pretty Little—was so wack. I was so tired of it 😂 

Anyway, moving on to the things I enjoyed. The angst—I loved the angst! I couldn’t help but imagine myself in Payton’s shoes, it had me feeling so emotional. Mason’s sense of dread was utterly heartbreaking. And Mason with Little Deaton? Absolutely adorable! I love, love, love the snippets of Noah and Ari! I adore those two 🥹🫶🏼 

Cameron’s story is next, y’all! I’m guessing it’s another love triangle, and I don’t know how I feel about that, because I’m not really a fan of love triangles anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️ ‎

I did like this book and I love Mason but he isn’t Noah Riley. Not sure anything will ever top Say You Swear to me. This book was emotional and had you on the edge the whole time. I’m not a fan of time jumps but I get the need for it in this book I guess. I will say I wish they did have more time together in current day in the end. The ending was so fast after they got together

This!!!! May be the best thing I have read all year!!!! Payton and Mason story will have you both tearful and laughing. Mason is absolutely perfect! Meagan Brandy Promise Me Not is stunning!!!! I listened to the audiobook and the narrators nailed it!
