i loved Say You Swear, one of my top favorite romances ever! i was so eager and excited for Mason and Payton’s story but it was… not great. ”pretty little” was an awful nickname. the passion between Mason and Payton was lacking, the drama added into the story was forced and repetitive, and the pace was dragging. I was expecting more push and pull, more pining, more more more! the back and forth duo timeline was confusing and only added to my dislike. we saw mason start to get closer to payton in Say You Swear, but this book felt so out of character for the mason we knew in Say You Swear. the narrators were freaking fantastic though, they made the story more enjoyable and endurable.

Omg I'm obsessed with these two!!!

Okay. The spice level in this one was pretty low. But the angst, OMG!!! It was next level!!!

If you already know Paytons history from previous books, then you'll know this one is going to be an emotional rollercoaster! And it certainly is!!
