I had trouble remembering the characters and everything that happened in the first book… It just felt like there were so many characters and that I was mixing some of them up. I did enjoy this one though, just not nearly as much as I remember enjoying Say You Swear (even if its details have fled my brain). The slow burn was a bit too slow for me.

This story was heartbreaking at times and I really felt for the characters. I wouldn't say it was my favourite ever read and I definitely preferred the 1st book in the series but it was still enjoyable. Some of the time jumps got a bit confusing for me and it took me a while to catch up and figure it out. I would've loved an epologue, but a good ending nonetheless.
