No tengo opinión de este libro, DNF. Me lo cogí pensando que sería un típico misterio de Agatha Christie. Voy por la mitad y parece más una novela de romance un tanto extraño. Anyways, no era lo que esperaba.
This was more like a Mary Stewart book than Christie, but Greta would have narrated. It had that creepy atmosphere.
Though there were some phrases that gave me a Christie feeling, for the most part Endless Night was a little bit of a drag. There was nothing out of the ordinary until about 80% of the way through, and the last 20% was a cursory explanation of the truth, which was slightly boring. Not Christie’s best, but she’s bound to have some flops with the amount of works she wrote.

"The plot-twist is so obvious," I said rolling my eyes.
I had no idea what was coming.

I love Agatha Christie, but I really don't think this is a very good novel from her. It was more melodrama with a twist, not so much a mystery. Considering it's one of her last novels, I'm not surprised it's just OK. I felt the same way with "Third Girl" which was published around the same time.
I don't really know how to review this book. It was very different from other Agatha Christie books, but still very well written. I knew the ending because I had seen a televised version, but it still surprised me in a way.

It took me a while to finish this (a week in Disney World will do that to ya lol) but wow! I'm kind of shocked by how good it was. This was my first Agatha Christie book ever and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a very slow book for the most part but I was enjoying the writing from the beginning. I kept expecting the mystery to show up and honestly expected it to go in a completely different direction. And when it finally did, I was blown away! I devoured the last 50 pages or so at work today lol. So yeah, consider me an Agatha fan!!
