Endless Night or an Endless Book?
Based on other reviews here, this will be an unpopular opinion. Endless night just wouldn’t ever end. Some of Agatha Christie’s books can be a little slow to start, but this one never got going. To me, it was slow, underwhelming, and lacked any real tension or mystery until the end of the novel. I had to know how it ended though. If this book wasn’t a mystery I would have stopped a third of the way through. Besides a few interactions that piqued my curiosity in the early chapters, the last 30 minutes were the only enjoyable parts in my opinion.
All that being said, Agatha Christie is as surprising and clever as ever. I never saw the ending coming, and it was genuinely satisfying and intriguing. I only wish she had built the plot faster. I’m a big fan of most of her books, but this one wasn’t for me.

This is an excellent standalone story. As dark and devious as some of her others, yet also a love story. It’s a peculiar blend that makes it so hard to anticipate and figure out just where the plot is going! But, if you’ve read enough of her work you know it’s not going to be a happily ever after.
I've read a lot of Agatha Christie, but most of it has been Poirot and Marple books. This was great, such a dark story and beautifully put together.

أعجبتني القصة كثيرا و الحبكة القصصية التي فيها و الطريقة الذكية لوقوع الجريمة و هوية المجرم الغير متوقعة وحديث أجاثا كريستي عن علاقة الشخصيات ببعضها البعض و لكنها أطالت في هذا الجزء من القصة فلم تكشف لنا طريقة إكتشاف المجرم بوضوح
