Do I think it was clever? Still not entirely sure but it was definitely interesting and once the reveal happens and context is provided with some of the stranger things that happened it made for a funner read to me personally

As I get ever closer to finishing the works of Agatha Christie I feel like I have less to say about her books. I either like them, really like them or love them, all depending on how much the characters and the mystery appealed to me.

This one has a bit more of a creepy feel to it. Along with the Gothic feel to the story came a bit of over dramatic plot and ending but on the whole it's a great mystery.

dark mysterious

Much darker than many of Christie's novels, and features a wonderfully horrible, self-absorbed main character.
