I have only so far listened to Claire Foy as she presents Pride and Prejudice. I thoroughly enjoyed her narration and by listening instead of reading, I was able to appreciate the dialogue even more. Next up Persuasion as narrated by Florence Pugh!

First fo all, Persuasion: I really, absolutely liked Anne (how ever her name is spelled) and Mr. Wentworth. They are both sweet and considerate creatures and simply belong together. Anne also became a sort of role model for me concerning gentleness, manners, humor and tranquility.

Secondly, The Jane Austen Collection itself: The different voices and the script are really well done. It was an utter delight to listen to Jane Austen's main characters and their respective romances. I am certainly glad to have listened to the stories in autumn because the audiobook complements long strolls between coloured leaves.
Huge recommendation for everyone in need of comfort, light diversion and smart female characters.

slow-paced

DNF-ed the book, but tried to give it another chance through the audible version of the dramatised audiobook—which was enjoyable in both narrator and background track. Emma's character development was great. However, the general storyline, or lack of, was abit too slow for my liking. All they do is visit each other daily, do they not have other tasks at hand?

Note: This is not to discount the writing of Jane Austen which was beautiful.
