I loved this book, but she switched nephews halfway through (who gets injured vs who doesn’t) and it stuck in brain for the entire rest of the book.

for me

This book was disappointing. I really liked the first book but this book wasn’t as good. I am sad that it isn’t because I really liked the idea of it and gabi. It was werid reading because my name is Gabrielle but that isn’t the problem. First other review are annoyed by him saying he’s a doctor that didn’t bother me. But kitten yeah other times it’s fine but in this book it’s just cringey. Im not sure why but the way he uses it is just cringey. I’m annoyed not my the doctor but by him always saying she mewls like I get it you call her kitten but geez. He says it’s so much it’s annoying. The 3rd act breakup was stupid but not that bad and didn’t bother me. Overall it just wasn’t that good. It could be because it is not as good as the first book but if I read it first I might think differently but no way to know. It was eh. Wish I liked it more but it was lowkey kind of boring. I liked the tropes but they weren’t written out that well. Like I love the lessons trope I live for it but this book just didn’t hit the spot. I’ve excited for the last one because I’ve heard good things but this second one has made me nervous. I don’t know if I would recommend this one. I would might just skip it but I’m not sure. Wish I could at least give what I call an average review of 3 stars but I can’t. 2/5

I finished it but wow this was a stupid book. The FMC is immature and acting like she’s 16 years old, not 28. Also the book was very predictable.
