glad i picked up the concise version. a lot of it felt rather repetitive. and maybe i’m just naturally sexy so i kinda already knew all of that lowkey

This book feels like self-centered manipulation.
The first part with the different kind of seduction characters was interesting but the second part about the process was narcissistic love bombing, talking about 'target' and 'victims' in a nearly dehumanising way.

Interesting to read how a seducer thinks but I don't agree with how seduction works according to this book and I don't like the results you might get by following this book. It's well written but I would've liked to read more historical examples of how seduction was applied.

Hmm, weird that upon reading the book, some chapters and points I find highly relevant to other contexts in life... No matter, I enjoyed it, and somehow upon completing this book, I've a craving to rewatch the drama series The Tudors, in particular to re-examine the dynamics between Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.

You can tell this guy realllllyyyyy likes Freud

First half can be interesting if you read each ‘type of seducer’ like astrological signs (taking & reflecting on what fits, leaving what doesn’t)…. Minus the odd undertones of gender stereotypes and incel-esque rhetoric. However, the second half fully reads like an incel manifesto of sorts. Blah.
